Busy Summer!

Yes, it's been too long again since the last update. We've been very busy, had lots of family visits and took our first trip to the beach with the babies! Here are a few pics:

As you can see the babies weren't overly enthused about their first trip to the beach. We had fun, though.

And now that we're pulling up and "cruising", it's time to finally get around to that child-proofing!

Well at least one Hokie was ready for football season to start!

Yeah that about sums it up for football right now.

We're at about 9.5 months now, both babies are crawling with alarming speed, pulling up, opening drawers and cabinet doors and generally showing us the weaknesses in our childproofing! At the 9 month checkup, Hollen tipped the scales at 20 lb 5 oz and 28" (we're not sure about that height measurement), Elliott at 21 lb 5 oz and 28.75", and the pediatrician seemed pretty pleased.

Today we took a trip over to one of the local parks and checked out the swings and sandbox.

We hope your summer has been great! Needless to say ours has been busy and it doesn't look like it will slow down much this fall! We've been grateful and excited that we've been able to spend time with family and get out of the house some. Hopefully we can up the frequency of our blog updates ;-)
